BREAKING GROUND WITH BILL T. JONES

TONY Award winning choreographer, Bill T. Jones, returns with the second in a series of moderated discussions focusing on the Harlem community. What is “the scene” in Harlem today? Who is it? Where it is? What is its impact and its direction? Is it thriving or just surviving? Join Jones discussion with special guests: Michael Henry Adams (cultural historian, author, Harlem, Lost and Found); Swave Sevah (Hip-Hop artist); Alexander Smalls (author, singer, restauranteur); and Sharifa Rhodes-Pitts (essayist, activist) who will kick off the evening with a poetic rendition on Harlem, accompanied by Craig Harris (trombonist, jazz musician).
